ABOUT SHERRI D. MOSS
After obtaining a Bachelor
of Commerce degree at McGill University, Sherri continued her
education at the University of Manitoba where she graduated
from the faculty of Law. She went on to be called to the Bar
in the Province of Ontario in 1999, where she is practicing
family and criminal
law. Ms. Moss has lived in Toronto since
1998. She is married and has a stepson.
Sherri
has found Brampton to be an ideal place to grow her practice.
The community has welcomed her and she is currently involved
with the local legal network. She was on the Board of Directors
of The Peel Law Association for over 6 years, and was vice-president
of the Peel Criminal Lawyers Association 2006-2008. She remains
actively involved in both organizations. In addition, Sherri
is also a member of the Ontario
Criminal Lawyers Association.
Sherri
is very passionate about her work. She strives to provide each
and every client with excellent representation in a candid
manner. Whenever possible, she encourages out of court settlements,
but when the situation requires advocacy, she strongly and
decisively acts in the interest of her client.
Sherri represents
clients in all aspects of family
law, including contentious
custody and child support cases, division of property, marriage
contracts, separation agreements, pension and business ownership
division and other related court proceedings. Similarly, she
also represents clients in all aspects of criminal
law including
jury trials and other litigated matters involving adults and
young persons who are charged with a criminal offence.
Sherri
takes pride in staying current with the latest family and criminal
law developments to effectively guide her clients through
the legal process. Her dedication and experience allow her
to provide clarity in what often feels like an overwhelming
