ABOUT JAMES PRATT

James is from Toronto and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Sociology before completing a Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of Western Ontario.

He has practiced law in Brampton since 1977 and lives here with his family. He provides legal services in the following areas:

• Business, Incorporation and Commercial Law
• Real Estate and Financing Transactions – Residential, Commercial and Industrial
• Wills and Estates
• Employment Issues
• Governmental Law

James is a mediator and is certified to conduct arbitrations by the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario. His governmental law experience includes preparing governmental regulations and inter-governmental agreements. James is also an instructor in the business law program at Sheridan College in Brampton.

Current community service includes work with Retrouvaille Canada in healing and renewing marriages in crisis, and participating in EF International Student Exchange.
